Overview
As an Environmental/Air Quality Project Manager with Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC), you'll be managing a variety of environmental and/or air quality projects and providing client-focused customer service in the manufacturing, energy, mining, and real-estate markets. This position could include the management of field personnel performing environmental monitoring/sampling of soil, ground/storm water, emissions, surface and subsurface investigations. This position could also include evaluating and presenting information regarding atmospheric emissions from proposed processes and equipment in support of state and federal permit applications. You'll interact with clients, contractors, and local government officials to impact the entire project from conceptual and design phases through the regulatory review process, bidding, and construction. Travel may be required.Job duties will include managing, scheduling, and budgeting of projects including proposal and report writing, performing engineering calculations, compiling permit application documents, meeting and coordinating with clients to obtain and understand project information, communicating with agency personnel, and evaluating control technologies for client facilities.Qualifications
3-7 years' consulting, compliance, industry or related experience;
B.S. or M.S. in Civil/Chemical/Environmental Engineering or a related field;Excellent verbal and written communication skills;Environmental experience with due diligence, compliance and permitting, air emissions estimating, site assessments (Phase I and II), and subsurface investigations.Knowledge of USEPA air quality regulations;Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project);Dispersion modeling experience using AERMOD is a plus;Experience with AutoCAD/Civil 3D, ArcGIS, and/or HEC-RAS or other computer modeling software is a plus;HAZWOPER training is a plus.About Us
