The Data, AI, Industry and Applications Business Development team is looking for an experienced and motivated Senior Business Program Manager ready to drive one of Microsoft’s most valued partnerships. This partnership is with a leading artificial intelligence company and is highly important for achieving Microsoft’s goals. This role requires an individual that can work in a fast-paced environment, while driving high quality results.
Microsoft is leading the AI platform shift and partnerships play an integral role in Microsoft’s leadership position. The company is partnering with many of the leading AI innovators and entrepreneurial organizations to develop new technologies and incorporate them into the Microsoft platform and provide to shared customers. This strategy represents a continuation of Microsoft’s commitment to bring the world’s most valuable innovations to market in partnership with similarly world-class organizations. This team leads these AI partnerships and is designating leaders to focus exclusively on relationships to ensure they continue to grow productively.
The individual hired can be based in our San Francisco, CA or our Redmond, WA office.

Responsibilities
Unite, inform, equip, and empower key parties across the business through the alignment of all partnerships and initiatives with the partner’s strategic objectives ensuring consistent execution.
Strategy and process development to drive increased coherence in partnership activities with the goal of more effective and unified outcomes.
Work with key stakeholders across Microsoft to centralize initiatives that drive and strengthen partner relationships, including but not limited to the development of workshops and GTM programs.
Communications management and orchestration serving as the main point of contact between BD partnership and departments. Development and management of an integrated rhythm of the business for cross organizational alignment. Including but not limited to newsletter and key communication programs, business alignment and review meetings, hot sheets and dashboards.
Operations management to streamline processes and manage operational tasks across the partnership team.
Change management, development and implementation of frameworks that delineate the essential steps, procedures, and best practices vital for driving updates and maintaining clarity through evolving environments.
Look beyond traditional partnership models to find opportunities for mutual growth and collaboration.
Participate in discussions and planning to shape the future of the partnership.

Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in business, Liberal Arts, Sciences, or related field AND 4+ years relevant work experience (e.g., investment banking, consulting, finance, marketing, corporate strategy, sales, venture capital, legal, business development, product management, project management, software development, or related field)
OR equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications

Proficiency in verbal and written communication, ability to interact with diverse groups across multiple organizational levels
Creative problem-solving & analytical skills to drive keen insights and understand root causes combined with a “sense of urgency” to develop solutions experience in delivering strategy and transformational programs.
Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross functional team
Adept at cross-organizational alignment and possess the ability to inspire and motivate teams to participate in and sponsor continuous improvements.
Change management expertise to systematically drive updates and maintain clarity through evolving environments.
Business Program Management IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,600 - $183,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $122,000 - $200,500 per year.
