Suyash Consulting, LLC (SUYASH) is actively seeking a Project Manager for the Water Resources Department in our Columbia, MD office. The water resources project manager will manage projects, project engineers and clients for a wide array of planning and design services.Responsibilities:
Manage and supervise staff.Work independently on smaller projects or portions of larger transportation design projects.Leads the planning and design efforts for a variety of water resources and site development projects.Training and mentoring junior staff.Coordination with clients and team members.Preparation of technical reports and technical documentation of calculations performed.Prepare project scope and fee proposals.Participation in proposal and business development effortsWater resources and environmental projects involving stormwater management (SWM), hydrology/hydraulics, erosion/sediment control design, drainage, stream restoration, bridge scour studies, floodplain studies, TMDL projects, NPDES, SWM retrofit design and BMPs.Work on marketing and business developmentWork directly with Senior Staff, Manager and Marketing personnel.Requirements:
BSCE in Civil Engineering or related disciplineMinimum of ten (10) years of experience in Water Resources EngineeringRegistered Professional Engineer in Maryland (or ability to apply for reciprocity)Knowledge of SHA, other State DOT and County DPW guidelines and proceduresWorking knowledge of hydraulic and hydrologic modeling programs and techniques including TR-20, TR-55, HEC-2, HEC-HMS, ABSCOUR, HEC-18 and HY-8.MDOT SHA PRD or MDE Project Review experience is a plus.
