Description: Carroll College invites applications for a full-time time RN Lab/Simulation Coordinator. This is a 9-month, 37.5 hrs/week benefitted staff position that will begin August 15, 2024. The Department of Nursing is seeking colleagues who possess exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), are committed to academic excellence, enthusiastic about student interactions and who support the mission of the college.Primary responsibilities of the position include coordination and management of a clinical nursing lab environment appropriate to support optimal student learning. This position provides nursing instruction and technical support to students in the on-campus clinical lab in collaboration with nursing faculty, coordinates the inventory and ordering of supplies, and maintenance of equipment. Additionally, this position operates low-fidelity and high-fidelity technology, including simulation mannequins and computers, to ensure safe and effective student learning with nursing scenarios, case studies, skills practice, and testing.Qualifications: The successful candidate will have a Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing as well as an unencumbered Montana Registered Nurse license and CPR certification. At least three years of broad nursing experience and teaching experience with nursing students in clinical settings preferred.Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
