This role requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and a commitment to ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of industrial machinery and equipment.Job ResponsibilitiesMaintenance Strategy Development: Develop, implement, and manage a comprehensive maintenance strategy that aligns with the organization's overall business objectivesTeam Leadership: Recruit, hire, train, and manage a team of skilled maintenance technicians to ensure optimal performance and productivityEquipment Maintenance: Oversee and execute the preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, and predictive maintenance of all industrial equipment and machinery (This responsibility is both hands on work as well as coaching others on performing the work)Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards, promoting a safe and healthy work environmentProblem Solving: Diagnose and troubleshoot equipment malfunctions, implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and improve efficiencyContinuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement initiatives to enhance the overall reliability and efficiency of maintenance operationsVendor Management: Manage relationships with external maintenance vendors and contractors, ensuring that services are delivered on time and within budgetPerformance Monitoring: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) related to maintenance activities, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actionsJob Requirements5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance managementStrong technical knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment (electrical, mechanical hydraulic and pneumatic)Proven leadership skills and ability to manage a team effectivelyPreferred experience with CMMS, predictive maintenance, lean manufacturingStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work under pressure and meet tight deadlinesExcellent problem-solving and analytical skillsStrong organizational and time management skillsProficiency in maintenance management software and toolsWhat CRH Offers YouHighly competitive base payComprehensive medical, dental and disability benefits programsGroup retirement savings programHealth and wellness programsA diverse and inclusive culture that values opportunity for growth, development, and internal promotionAbout CRHCRH has a long and proud heritage.
