We are seeking a dynamic, passionate and experienced Continuous Improvement Lead to join our team. This crucial position is designed to help our very successful organization continue to grow and develop. This role will be responsible for enabling our entire organization to learn valuable new skills and methodologies that drive process improvement and operational excellence. If you're the kind of person who has a passion for creating a culture of continuous improvement, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our company's future and sustained success.
Specifically, the Continuous Improvement Lead will:
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive Continuous Improvement strategy aligned with the company's goals
+ Identify, prioritize, and lead Continuous Improvement projects that will enhance operational efficiency, quality, and productivity
+ Serve as a mentor/leader of multi-functional teams throughout OTTO
+ Be a significant contributor to developing and promoting a continuous improvement culture at all levels of OTTO
+ Train teams on the concepts of continuous improvement and lean principles and lead efforts to help teams to utilize Continuous Improvement tools to analyze process, identify waste and implement solutions; develop necessary training materials when appropriate
+ Help team's function efficiently and effectively in pursuit of goals
+ Help establish goals and objectives in conjunction with senior managers for continuous improvement teams
+ Monitor and report progress; develop and track Continuous Improvement metrics to measure the effectiveness of initiatives and regularly report progress and results to senior management and other stakeholders
What you'll need to bring to the table:
+ Knowledgeable in continuous improvement and lean principles
+ Experience in leading continuous improvement or lean manufacturing teams
+ Bachelor's Degree - Engineering Degree strongly preferred
+ 10+ years prior production experience in electro-mechanical products strongly preferred
+ Must possess natural leadership skills with a strong ability to communicate verbally and in writing
+ Skilled in Microsoft Office products - Excel, Word, Access, PowerPoint and Project or equivalents
+ Must be goal oriented in approach to continuous improvement
+ Is comfortable and effective in interacting with all management levels
+ Requires self-motivation and ability to complete objectives independently
