Lead Software Engineer

We are seeking a talented Technology & Backend Lead to join our team. This dynamic leader will work closely with our CTO and Product Lead, collaborating cross-functionally to drive backend architecture and development. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience in backend systems and the ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers in building the core infrastructure of our products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the backend architecture and documentation for mobile and web applications.
• Lead the product development team, ensuring best practices and technical excellence.
• Collaborate closely with UX/UI designers, developers, and project managers.
• Make informed technical decisions and define project roadmaps.
• Mentor junior team members, fostering innovation and growth.
• Engage in hands-on coding, troubleshooting, and system enhancements.
• Resolve complex technical issues to maintain system reliability.
• Identify and implement standards and improvements within the codebase.

Qualifications:

• Extensive development experience with Go and strong database expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB
• Proficiency with JS frameworks like Node.js and React.js is highly advantageous.
• 3+ years of experience managing software engineering teams.
• 5+ years of experience in large-scale backend development.
• Strong ability to work and thrive in a collaborative, dynamic team environment.
• Skilled at understanding and anticipating customer needs.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills.
• Strong project management and leadership abilities.
