Field Services Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Providing Technical Support to customers.
- Travel to customer’s location to repair or modify Komatsu Stamping Press Equipment
- Responsible for improving Service sales and parts sales through Customer Contact.
- Supervise the repair using sub-contractors and/or Customers maintenance people.
- Preform PM and Inspections.
- Calculate and prepare accurate quotations for Service to Customers. This includes contacting Sub-Contractors and preparing their estimate into our quote for service.
- Present quotation to the customers with explanation.
- Prepare and present final reports to customers including Inspection reports.
- Provide Warranty Service and Support
- Contact Customers on a regular basis for Customer relationships. Promote Service and Parts sales.
- Provide Technical phone support. Supply the Customer with viable Product information to repair their equipment.
- Assist in new Press machine installations
Qualifications:
Associate degree with an emphasis in Mechanical Engineering and/or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
Required Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in Stamping Press or Manufacturing Maintenance
- Experience managing or supervising a team in a manufacturing/mechanical setting
- Hands on technical experience in a manufacturing/mechanical setting
- Demonstrates a continuous improvement mindset and forward-thinking attitude.
- Flexibility, adaptability, and effective multitasking to support company initiatives.
- Strong communication skills across all levels of the organization.
- Ability to travel up to 75%
Preferred Skills:
- Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Degree
- Press Experience
- PLC experience
