Associate - Energy Transition Investor (Houston)

Madison Hunt is partnered with a leading global energy investment fund to hire an Associate for their Energy Transition team in Houston.

The firm is deploying capital out of Fund II, and will look at investments within renewables, energy storage, clean fuel and carbon solutions. The Associate will play a key role in the execution of investments.

Interested candidates will:

• Have 1-4 years of experience at a top-tier investment bank, private equity fund and/or corporate development/M&A;
• Have proven M&A experience with an in-depth understanding of energy transition, power and utilities, and renewables;
• Possess a strong and all-round skill set, including ability to build financial models from scratch.
• Hold a finance, business, engineering or related degree from a highly regarded university; and
• Have excellent communication / presentation skills.
