What’s involved in this role:

We are looking for Whey General Helper in Luxemburg, WI.

The Whey Helper is responsible for assisting with the activities in the Whey and or Permeate Plant as directed by the Production Supervisor/Area Production Manager.

$20.97/hourSeasonal / Part Time Work / 20 - 40 hours per weekMonday - Friday / Weekend HelpDays / Nights

What you need to join our team

Ability to walk, stand, bend and lift up to 50 lbs.Fill lactose, whey, or permeatebags with product; ensuring the bag house is empty at end of shift.

Fill lactose bin with totes.

Responsible for cleaning and sanitation ofBag Room.

Operate Forklift. (Not applicable for employees under age 18.)

Understand basic operation ofDryers and assist operators as needed.

Assist with other general duties in Wheyand/or PermeatePlant as assigned.

Assist with Fetaor powderpackaging/production as directed.

Assist Cheddaror powderpackaging/production as directed.

Effectively adhere to and maintain the plant sanitation schedule.

Communicate concerns to theProduction Supervisor/Area Production Manager in a timely fashion.

No experience required; in house training providedWillingness to learn and work as a teamDesire to grow with a stable company

Our Luxemburg, WI, plant is home to about 170 employees. This facility produces mozzarella and provolone cheese, as well as various whey streams.
