We have outfitted meeting rooms, credit unions, schools, churches, theaters, reception areas, cruise ships, and auditoriums.

The Installation Technician is responsible for installing & servicing audiovisual systems. This role is essential for ensuring all infrastructure is installed according to the plans and Project Manager's instructions.

Responsibilities:

  • Understand the overall expectations and timeline of the project 
  • Able to understand various architectural and schematic drawings
  • Pull wire for projects 
  • Terminate wire to plates, panels, and racks
  • Lace, terminate, and label rack wiring in equipment racks
  • Mount a variety of audiovisual equipment including but not limited to displays, screens, projectors, speakers, cameras, lighting, racks, etc.
  • Able to troubleshoot and verify system functionality
  • Report daily to the Project Manager with project milestones
  • Maintain clean working areas on site
  • Keep up company tool and equipment maintenance including controlling and safekeeping all tools in the shop and on the job site 
  • Maintain the shop's upkeep and cleanliness 
  • Other duties as assigned 

Requirements: 

  • Minimum 2 years of working in commercial audiovisual installation field 
  • Be familiar with audio, video, lighting, and control systems 
  • Knowledge of low-voltage electrical concepts
  • Able to read and understand drawings such as architectural plans, electrical drawings, and low-voltage schematics
  • Basic construction knowledge
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High school diploma or equivalent 
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
  • Work at heights on ladders, lifts, and attic spaces 
  • Physical stamina to work in difficult positions and areas
  • Able to travel for installations across USA and abroad
  • Possess a current driver’s license
