What You Will Be Accountable For
  • Responsible for the execution of Sourcing Process within the framework of the approved category strategy.
  • Validating sourcing plans with the appropriate above market Procurement teams (i.e Global Procurement), Product and SR&D team.
  • Coordinate supplier management and continuous improvement initiatives with suppliers collaborating closely with partners and business functions.
  • Perform spend analytics, cost / scenario analysis and total cost of ownership benchmarking.
  • Understanding of the processes, timelines and constraints for the development and delivery of new goods and services.
  • Ensure contracts are completed for all in-scope supply agreements.
  • Developing and maintaining strong contingency plans to ensure security of supply for materials in scope (ongoing risk assessment and plans tracking) in collaboration with relevant RAI’s functional teams, as well as with Global Procurement team.
  • Be an advocate for compliance to Group Procurement standards, policies and platforms at all times.
  • Liaise with the appropriate business unit functions in the qualification and onboarding of new suppliers.
  • Support OTIF (On Time In Full) implementation of all New Product Introductions (NPI), through collaboration with NPI team and other involved functions (ie Product, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, etc.)

Essential Experience, Skills And Knowledge
  • Within 3 to 4 years general business experience within Procurement
  • Proficient user of Excel, Word and Power Point.
  • Strong financial and analytical skills linked with Project Management
  • Critical thinking, recognizing which insights drive business value and how best to impactfully communicate these with technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Validated capability of applying supplier management techniques to deliver contributed benefits in addition to contracted benefits.
  • Strong influencing skills and pro-active, sophisticated partner management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering.
