Senior Project Manager

Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of ground-up K-12 and municipal construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management within the construction industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for building educational and community infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage multiple construction projects from conception through completion, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications and requirements are met.
• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and budgets, providing regular updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate project resources and logistics, ensuring efficient workflow and communication among all parties involved.
• Monitor and enforce safety standards and regulations on job sites, promoting a culture of safety and compliance.
• Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively.
• Prepare and present project reports, proposals, and updates to clients and senior management.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, community stakeholders, and regulatory agencies.
• Mentor and lead junior project managers and project teams, fostering professional development and teamwork.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management within the construction industry, with a focus on K-12 and municipal projects preferred.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from start to finish.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations in Florida.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient in project management software and tools (e.g., Procore, Microsoft Project).
• PMP certification or equivalent is highly desirable.
