Senior Field Service Technician

We are currently hiring a Senior Field Service Technician for one of our clients based in Seattle/Tacoma area. The Senior Field Technician role will be focused on providing preventative maintenance, warranty and repair services on electrical systems at the customers location. As a Field Service Technician, this individual will be responsible for delegating and overseeing all onsite work activity. The Field Service Technician will also be responsible for providing superior customer service and communicating with the customer when any issues are found.

Below is a list of the key responsibilities for the role, whilst not exhaustive, that you will need to be able to perform to be successful;

• Expertise in working with switchgear, circuit breakers, transformers, and associated electrical systems.
• Performing diagnostic tests to assess the functionality and safety of equipment, particularly at higher voltage levels.
• Conducting visual and hands-on checks to verify the condition and compliance of systems rated at 480V or above.
• Identifying and resolving issues in electrical systems, which may involve interpreting wiring diagrams and using technical knowledge to pinpoint faults.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and technical manuals.

The ideal candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED. Direct experience performing Electrical Acceptance or Maintenance Testing. You should also be able to demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to resolve electrical issues in a timely manner.
