Finance Manager Responsibilities:
- Managing accounting and financial reporting
- Establishing and coordinating all accounting procedures for the business unit
- Effective linkage of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and other financial performance analyses with financial reporting
- Prepares month-end close journal entries related to ACA, intercompany/eliminations, transfer pricing, sales accruals, business consolidation costs/restructuring activities, and customer inventory revaluations
- Fixed and Variable Cost Analysis: Collaborate with the financial accounting team to accurately assess fixed costs like salaries and rent, and predict, plan, and record variable costs such as raw material purchases and operational expenses.
- Perform standard and ad hoc analyses for management to support key business decisions
- Investigating significant trends/variances in financial data
- Handling AP, AR, Payroll, Tax functions as well as Cost and Inventory Accounting
- Providing daily and/or weekly analysis, and reporting on operational performance as it relates to the business activities including monitoring margins, variances, and giving feedback
- Assisting in the formulation of the budget and preparing the monthly budget variance analyses
- Develop and prepare new management reports for use in analyzing the financial data of the association
programs and the unemployment fund. - Supervise/perform preparation/operation of monthly procedures and reconciliations including bank
reconciliations, cash receipts and disbursements, billing
