Job Description:
- Interrogate, analyze, comprehend, and interpret various Engineering Drawings,
- Models, Bills of Materials, Technical Specifications, Quality Documents, Bell
Process Framework, and departmental procedures as necessary to perform assigned - Provides MCAD operational models and 2D drawings for manufacturing process
planning sequences as required.
Provide process liaison support for manufacturing operations when MCAD models
with 2D drawings exist as required. - Develops, Creates and Maintains Tooling/Fixture definition for manufacturing
operations for all media types including MCAD and manual legacy designs. - Executes creation and maintenance of CAM programs and operator instructions for
Numerical Controlled equipment. - Responsible for developing, creating, and maintaining Loft MCAD models, flat
patterns and associated digital tooling programs. - Working knowledge of NC Programming, Loft, Engineering, Tool Design,
Manufacturing and Planning processes and procedures. - Skilled in the concept related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
- Supports producibility assessments when requested.
- Maintains records and schedules of work assigned.
- Will meet established company cost control standards, schedule and quality requirements to maintain market competitiveness.
- Provide technical assistance to procurement and suppliers as determined by
- Execute strong communication skills, both verbal and written, required to
communicate and interact between internal and external customers. - Apply extensive aircraft manufacturing knowledge and be prepared to train, direct,
instruct, mentor and check/validate Production Engineering work. - Required to attend training and complete competency-based testing as required by
management to remain current with technological advancements.
Educational Requirements:
- Four (4) years college or eight (8) years of experience in the aircraft industry.
- Demonstrated capability to adequately perform the essential functions and responsibilities related to the application of GD&T/Aerospace tolerances.
- Must have strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- This position requires use of information which is subject to the International Traffic in Arms
