Principal Architect (2 days onsite in a week)

As a principal Architect, your responsibilities include designing and implementing network and application solutions, developing architectural frameworks, and providing technical guidance and support to project teams. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into scalable and reliable cloud solutions.

· Ensure excellence in the end-to-end delivery of complex data engineering projects and programs.

· Responsible for ideation, architecture, design and development of new enterprise data platform. You will collaborate with enterprise architects to ensure seamless alignment within our overarching technology strategy.

· Lead the team in the design of technology solutions that meet the business needs in terms of sustainability, scalability, performance and security.

· Implement and enforce best practices, compliance standards, and access controls

· Design and optimize data, storage, processing, and query performance for large-scale datasets using industry best practices while keeping costs in check.

· Architect and design the best security patterns and practices

· Design and develop Reusable data engineering components which will drive more efficiency to process

· Design and develop observability and data governance frameworks and practices.

· Stay up to date with the latest data engineering trends, technologies, and best practices and drive innovation.

· Drive the deployment and release cycles, ensuring a robust and scalable platform.

· Work with the delivery team to ensure a robust process exists that seamlessly moves large projects and change requests from definition to delivery to on boarding to BAU.

· Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, ensuring adherence to cloud architecture and design principles.

Where you'll be working…

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes work from home and assigned office days set by your manager.

What we’re looking for...

· Bachelor's degree or 12 or more years experience.

· Six or more years of experience in designing and implementing end to end solutions on AWS or equivalent cloud solutions. Certification is preferred.

· Strong expertise in AWS services along with SQL and Non-SQL DB’s preferably MongoDB, Big query, Dataproc, cloud function, Composer, IAM, Dataflow, Splunk, NewRelic and other software supporting components.

· Strong knowledge and experience in designing data models in cloud data warehouse (conceptual/logical/physical)

· Strong experience and understanding of very large-scale data architecture, solutioning, deployment models, redundancy, Failover ad disaster recovery techniques.

· Strong understanding of authentication models, encryption algorithms, Cipher suites and deployment models.

· Experience in API’s design, swagger, Open API specs. 42 Crunch and API scanning tools preferred.

· Experience in Telecom specific industry ranging from RAN to IMS core is desired.

· Experience in working on translating standard requirements from 3GPP, GSMA, TM Forum and ITEF is highly desired.

· Solid understanding of networking concepts, security principles, and compliance standards related to cloud environments.

· Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues.

· Effective communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work cross-functionally and interact with stakeholders at all levels.

Even better if you have one or more of the following…

· Familiarity with big data solutions such as Hadoop, Spark, and data analytics tools in the cloud.

· Experience in building Data products

· Experience with Data Mesh architecture.

· Knowledge of CI/CD Implementation on Cloud Platform

· Understanding of machine learning,AI, Gen AI solutions on the cloud.

· Experience with Data Quality and Performance Tuning
