MAU is hiring a Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer for Fluor Nuclear Power in Greenville, SC. As a Senior Process/Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the planning, design, and construction phases of multi-disciplinary engineering projects, with a focus on process and mechanical engineering systems. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to complex projects, including those in the nuclear sector. This is a long-term contract opportunity.

Shift Information:
- Monday – Friday 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering
- 10+ years of experience in mechanical engineering design, estimating, and construction document preparation (nuclear industry preferred)
- Solid understanding of Federal, State, and Local codes and standards related to mechanical engineering design
- Proficiency with computer-aided drafting (CAD) software
General Requirements:
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of projects
- Exceptional communication skills and the ability to interface with clients and stakeholders
Preferred Requirements:
- Professional Engineer (PE) License preferred
- Experience with Department of Energy (DOE) Orders and regulations
- Background in nuclear engineering is highly desirable
Essential Functions:
- Project Management: Lead process and mechanical engineering projects, including design, planning, and construction oversight.
- Documentation and Review: Conduct detailed reviews of construction documents and ensure accuracy in calculations and P&ID (Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams) development.
- Technical Expertise: Provide expert advice on mechanical systems design, equipment specifications, and compliance with safety regulations.
- Team Leadership: Organize and coordinate engineering teams, ensuring project deadlines are met.
Supervisory Responsibility:
- This position may oversee:
- Junior Engineers
- CAD Designers
- Project Coordinators
Work Environment or Working Conditions:
- Responsibilities may be performed in both office and field environments
- Occasional site visits to monitor project progress
