Senior Windows System Engineer
Atlantic Group, Boca Raton, FL, United States
Our client, a prestigious financial service company and alternative investment manager specializing in quantitative investing, is looking to hire a full-time Senior Windows Engineer to work primarily onsite in Boca Raton, Florida!
Our Client & What To Expect:
The firm trades 24 hours a day, with trades generated automatically in response to changing market conditions. They also provide multi asset execution, prime brokerage and risk consultancy services to institutional clients globally, using cutting edge front to back technology.
They have grown significantly over the last 5 years, and as this growth continues that trajectory, the technology must scale to facilitate it. They are at another exciting inflexion point as the business scales out horizontally into other asset classes, which brings new challenges for their technology platform and the Infrastructure team. Automation is a key part of that strategy and will allow them to rapidly deliver to the business to overcome many of those challenges.
Client Environment Summary:
This is an environment which fosters idea generation and encourages change. Your voice will be heard within a small team of talented engineers (12 globally), where ideas, thoughts and any pain points are discussed and collaborated on. To help facilitate this there’s a regular meeting dedicated purely to team feedback; what you think is Good, Bad, and what you’re unsure about.
There are no CABs and no lengthy review processes to get in the way of progress. Ideas are brought to life quickly, and often deployed to production intra-day. You will be hands-on from the beginning with immediate responsibilities and ownership, and by working in a small team mean you will get exposure to many areas of the tech stack, usually working on multiple projects at the same time. This is not a role for someone who is not familiar with balancing several projects at the same time, along with getting involved with any BAU work that may arise.
You will be given ownership from day one and have exposure to a broad range of technologies across our global estate. This should appeal to someone with a thirst to learn, grow, manage projects, and develop professionally in an environment which fosters idea generation and collaboration.
