Jr. Packaging Designer

Beauty Brand is seeking a talented and creative Jr. Packaging Designer to join their team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing and creating packaging materials for our beauty products.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the design team to develop innovative and visually appealing packaging concepts that align with brand identity

• Create dye lines, mock ups, and prepare files for pre-press

• Ensure all packaging designs meet regulatory requirements and adhere to industry standards

• Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, product development, and operations to gather requirements and execute design projects within specified timelines

• Conduct research on current market trends and competitor analysis to inform design decisions

• Prepare files for production by providing accurate specifications and guidelines to print vendors

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or related field (or equivalent work experience)

• Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign) or similar design software

• Experience in packaging design for consumer products is preferred

• Solid understanding of print production processes including color management, file preparation, and prepress techniques

• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality designs within tight deadlines

• Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
