Data Validation Engineer

Position: Snowflake & SQL Data Validation Engineer

Location: West Houston, TX (Must be onsite 5 days per week)

Duration: 6+ months

Job Description:

• 7+ years of experience in data validation, data quality, or data engineering roles.
• Strong SQL skills: Ability to write, optimize, and debug complex SQL queries.
• Experience with Snowflake: Proficient in Snowflake’s architecture, SQL dialect, and performance tuning.
• Experience in ETL/ELT processes: Understanding of data transformation, loading, and validation within Oil & Gas Industry.

MUST HAVES:

• Oil & gas experience – upstream specifically
• Must have either “GGRE” (Geophysics, Geosciences, & reservoir engineering) OR “Ops & Proud” (Operations & Production)
