Apparel Product Development Assistant

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Apparel Product Development Assistant to join our team at Contemporary Clothing Brand. This is a fully onsite position in Vernon.

As an Apparel Product Development Assistant, you will play a vital role in introducing new fashion items to our product line. You will collaborate closely with designers, merchandisers, and suppliers throughout the entire product development process.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with designers, merchandisers, and suppliers from concept development to final production

• Facilitate communication of target costs to vendors

• Organize sample dispatches to vendors for new developments

• Assist in sourcing fabrics, trims, and materials for samples and production

• Monitor progress of prototypes and samples

• Coordinate with cross-functional teams for sample reviews each season

• Support production schedules and quality standards

• Foster communication among cross-functional teams

• Maintain records and documentation related to product development

• Manage daily package deliveries for the team
