Sr. Full Stack Software Engineer

As a Senior Full-Stack Software Engineer, your knowledge, interest, and enthusiasm related to aviation will enable you to help your team develop innovative software applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Designing, developing, and documenting software to process and store real-time data using a cloud-based, microservice environment
• Writing extensible and scalable code
• Integrating in-house and third-party applications and APIs in a microservice environment
• Examining raw avionics data feeds, networking data, messaging queues, database records, etc.
• Testing and investigating bugs or other application issues

Required Skills and Abilities:

• Proficient in a modern programming language (Python, C++, etc.)
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively to address problems promptly.
• Ability to work in a small, fast-moving team
• Familiarity with the Agile software development and related tools such as Confluence, Jira, GitHub, or equivalent tools.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Preferred Skills and Abilities:

• Strong Python and C++ development skills
• Networking knowledge, including familiarity with network analysis tools
• Familiarity developing in Linux
• Familiarity with Docker environments and containerization
• Familiarity with AWS ECS, S3, SQS, Elasticache, etc.
• 5 years of work experience
