What to expect in this role
We are seeking a driven Business Development Associate to support the growth of our Capital Markets practice. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the capital markets industry. As a Business Development Associate, you will be responsible for identifying and engaging with top prospects, setting up meetings and calls, and contributing to the development of our capital markets pipeline.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and research potential clients within the capital markets industry, focusing on asset management, banking, and insurance
- Conduct outreach to top prospects via phone, email, and social media, actively working to generate interest in Blankfactor's services
- Schedule and coordinate meetings and calls between prospects and senior team members
- Collaborate with internal teams to develop and refine our go-to-market strategy for the capital markets industry
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all business development activities within our CRM system (Hubspot)
- Assist in the creation of sales collateral, including presentations, case studies, and proposals
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business development strategies
Requirements and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or finance
- 1-3 years of experience in business development, sales, or a related field, preferably within the capital markets industry
- Experience with CollibraSnowflake, and Oracle / DB2
- Familiarity with Capital Markets / Security Finance / Security Lending
- Experience with Enterprise Portal Development & Production rollout
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with prospects at all levels
- Proven track record of successfully generating leads and contributing to the sales pipeline
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Hubspot a plus) and sales processes
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Willingness to travel to client sites, industry events, and conferences as needed
