The Seeker Engineering team, part of LinkedIn's Talent Marketplace Engineering organization, leverages advanced technologies to empower LinkedIn members in their job search and enable employers to find top candidates. This team builds essential components of LinkedIn's job search and recommendation systems and drives substantial business impact. Encompassing various sub-teams, Job Seeker Engineering supports products like Job Search, Job Recommendations, Employer Brand, Jobs Notifications, and LinkedIn Seeker Coach. Together, they create tools and solutions central to the job-seeking experience, a critical area for LinkedIn that drives billion-dollar business impact and helps hundreds of millions of members find new opportunities. Collaborating closely with product, engineering, and infrastructure partners, the team is leading the development of next-generation, AI-driven experiences that will transform the digital job marketplace.

As a Senior iOS engineer, you will be working alongside a multi-platform team of stellar iOS, Android, Web, AI, and Apps engineers, working closely with product managers, designers and other partners to build, architect and deliver a world class experience

Responsibilities* You will design and execute user-facing features for the native LinkedIn app on iOS devices by leveraging mobile operating system frameworks for multi-threading, persisting data, and managing user experience and graphics across multiple screen sizes.* You will use the latest cutting-edge technologies and libraries suggested by Apple for building responsive native apps for iOS.* You will build scalable native mobile apps using LinkedIn’s internal libraries.* You will make architectural trade-offs applying synchronous and asynchronous design patterns, write code, and deliver with speed and quality.* You will produce high-quality software that is unit tested, code reviewed and checked in regularly for continuous integration.* You will provide technical leadership, driving and performing best engineering practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs.* You will identify, leverage, and successfully evangelize opportunities to improve engineering productivity.

Basic Qualifications* BA/BS in Computer Science or related technical field or equivalent practical experience.* 2+ years of industry experience in software design, development, and algorithm related solutions.* 2+ years programming experience in languages such as Objective-C, Swift, Python, Java, Javascript, C/C++, C#, Ruby.

Preferred Qualifications

• BS and 5+ years of relevant work experience, MS and 4+ years of relevant work experience, or PhD and 2+ years of relevant work experience.

The pay range for this role is $121,000 to $198,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
