Moorecroft is looking to hire a Azure Cloud Application Developer. These are exciting long-term contract opportunities in a fun and exciting environment!

Azure Cloud Application Developer

6+ months Contract

Hybrid - Onsite (Mondays and Tuesdays) Chicago area

• Cloud Architecture and Engineering: 2+ years in cloud-native principles and Azure services (App Service, Functions, Key Vault, etc.), serverless computing, and microservices.
• 5+ years in full-stack development with experience in frontend (React, Angular, or Vue.js) and backend (C#, Node.js, or Java).
• Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Proficiency with Terraform (preferred) or Bicep for IaC.
• Proficient in API development, database technologies (SQL/NoSQL), IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OIDC), and Azure AD.
• CI/CD & Agile Experience: Familiar with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps or Jenkins) and Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban).
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration abilities.
• Azure Integration Services, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, API Gateways (Azure API Management).
