Our Boston, MA client in the Renewable Energy sector is seeking a Recruiter to join their team for a long-term contract opportunity. The ideal candidate has 3-5 years experience recruiting in construction, manufacturing, and engineering space, has managed direct reports and is available immediately.
Rate: Starting at $35/h
potential offers may fall outside this range depending on experience
Candidates must be local to Boston as this role is a hybrid schedule of 1-2 days on-site
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full-lifecycle recruiting process
- Collaborate with hiring managers on opening job requisitions, sourcing, and interviewing
- Conduct phone and in-person interviews with candidates, schedule interviews with hiring managers, and manage candidate applications efficiently
- Act as a liaison between hiring managers and Human Resources department
- Properly document all candidate engagements
- Proactively source both passive and active candidates
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, or Healthcare Administration is strongly preferred
- 3-5 years of experience in a recruitment or talent acquisition position ideally a blend of in house and agency
- Understanding of the construction, manufacturing, and engineering space
- Strong grasp of compliance standards, employment law, and Diversity, Equity & Inclusion initiatives
- Familiarity with and interest in various interviewing, negotiation, and influencing techniques and strategies
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, ATS, Slack, and Zoom is a must
- Ability to multi-task and work independently
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proactive with a positive attitude
