Our team is expanding, and we are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Engineer to provide critical field support and ensure the success of our projects.

This is remote w/ (75% Travel Required).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the day-to-day execution of hospitality and multifamily construction projects, ensuring compliance with client specifications and project deadlines.
  • Assist in the planning, coordination, and management of construction activities, focusing on maximizing efficiency and meeting project objectives.
  • Provide field support by managing submittals, ensuring timely approvals and accuracy in alignment with project specifications, and project related accounting task.
  • Compile and maintain daily construction reports documenting project progress, resource allocation, and any critical issues that arise.
  • Manage change orders, including documentation, negotiation, and integration into the overall project plan, ensuring minimal disruption to the project timeline.
  • Prepare and manage Requests for Information (RFI) to clarify project details and requirements, facilitating clear and effective communication among all project stakeholders.
  • Collaborate closely with project managers, architects, and subcontractors to ensure strict adherence to project specifications and quality standards.
  • Monitor ongoing projects and provide regular updates to the Senior Project Manager.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations and uphold the highest quality standards.
  • Conduct site visits to oversee construction activities, address any emerging issues, and ensure that project milestones are met.
  • Maintain meticulous records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle to support transparency and effective project management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction management, with a preference for experience in hospitality and/or multifamily projects.
  • Demonstrated capability in field support tasks such as submittals, daily report preparation, and change order management.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic team environment.
  • Proficiency with construction management software and Microsoft Suite tools.
