The Staff Accountant plays an important role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial data and is responsible for various accounting functions including the preparation of journal entries, maintenance of accounting records and account reconciliations, filing of various tax returns, and any other tax matters that may arise. The ideal candidate will possess a combination of self-motivation and flexibility while demonstrating the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with month-end and year end close process, including preparing and reconciling general ledger accounts as assigned in a timely and accurate manner
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and company-wide policies
- Perform financial statement review and analysis while being able to research and resolve discrepancies
- Possesses a working understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Assist with internal and external audit and the compilation of tax packages and income tax filings
- Prepare monthly Use Tax and Property Tax accruals
- Manage Property Tax and Use Tax filing as required by local statutory guidelines
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Resolves basic general accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field
- 3 + years of general ledger experience
- Proficient in excel and ERP systems
- Preferred -
- CPA
- 1 + years of public company experience
- Manufacturing experience
