Ncite Partners is currently partnering with an Oklahoma City-based heavy equipment manufacturing company that is looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join their team.

Our Client:
Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer of heavy industrial equipment, headquartered in Oklahoma City. Known for its stable operations and employee-centric culture, the company offers a dynamic and supportive work environment.
The Role:
- Design, develop, and test innovative mechanical engineering projects for new products and product enhancements.
- Apply your extensive experience with industrial equipment to drive project success.
- Utilize your knowledge of hydraulics to design and integrate complex systems.
- Be proficient in ANSYS for simulations and analysis, ensuring the reliability and efficiency of designs.
- Work primarily with SolidWorks, though experience with other 3D CAD systems is also acceptable.
- Mentor junior engineers and collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, fostering a collaborative on-site environment.
- Engage with customers and suppliers to understand project specifications and optimize component selection for cost-effectiveness and quality.
- Lead and contribute to the commissioning processes, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and support sales cycles with accurate quotes and timelines.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related degree is required
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, specifically with industrial equipment
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics and proficiency in ANSYS for simulation and analysis
- Experience with SolidWorks or other 3D CAD systems
- Strong teamwork skills and a commitment to on-site collaboration and mentorship
