Fire Service Technician

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Performs service requests on Fire Alarm systems ranging from basic zoned Fire Alarm panels to more advanced addressable networked systems.

• Strong background/knowledge on troubleshooting various Fire Alarm Panels. Mircom and Potter Preferred-Test and repair alarm systems already in place.

• Perform inspections to ensure alarms are installed according to code.

• Complete detailed inspection reports, documenting any issues as well as efficiently communicating with customers before/after services.

• Support Inspections team, if/when needed.

• Standard hours are M-F, but may need to work weekends as customer's require.

• Work a rotation with on-call shifts

Qualifications and Skills:

• Familiarity with NFPA 72, Nevada Fire Prevention Code, and local building codes.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

• Organized, motivated and able to work with minimal supervision.

• Valid Nevada Driver’s License with clean driving record.

• OSHA-10

• F-Card

• G-Card

• Personal Hand Tools

• Minimum of 5 years of experience on Fire Alarm systems.

• Troubleshooting skills

• Ability to work on ladders and lift up to 50 lbs.

• Detail Oriented
