Maintenance Technician

Mackenzie Stuart are currently partnered with a leading Home and Personal Care Contract Manufacturer seeking a Maintenance Technician.

The role of Maintenance Technician is to coordinate and execute preventive and corrective maintenance on all company machinery and equipment to ensure consistent productivity.

Responsibilities for this role include (but are not limited to):

• Lubricate machinery, components, and tools as needed.
• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance, including reading and interpreting mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics, and performing parts replacements.
• Document technical information and maintenance reports accurately.
• Manufacture and repair machine parts and accessories using mechanical machining techniques.
• Maintain and service mechanical machinery to ensure optimal operation.
• Collaborate with machine operators to minimize waste and provide operational training for employees working with packaging machinery.

To be considered for the role, the following education, experience and qualifications are required:

• Education: Technician in Mechanics or Technician in Industrial Automation
• Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in preventive and corrective maintenance of pneumatic machinery.
• Specific Knowledge: Familiarity with NR 10, NR 12 (Machinery and Equipment - Presses), NR 13 (Boilers), and NR 17 (Ergonomics).
• Strong knowledge in ergonomics principles.
