Java Developer - W2 Only

Title: Lead Java Developer (Remote)

Location: Pittsburgh, PA/ Dallas, TX

Duration: 6+ Months with possible extension or conversion

Contract Type: W2 Contract

Initiatives/Projects:

• Web Applications and system interfaces – Need a full stack developer who is capable and confident in building generalized web applications that read and execute processes as defined in the database configuration tables. Processes will include file creation, report generation, email, and transmissions across multiple protocols; including REST, ODBC, SMTP, EBCDIC, FTP, NDM, etc.

Team Dynamic:

• Team size of 6 core team members, plus others as needed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Create/update java web applications
• Support conversion from mainframe application to Java application
• Document changes and provide test results

Must Have Technical Skills: (Top 3 In Order of Importance)

• Java - primary and most important skill
• SQL - secondary skill

Flex Skills/Nice to Have:

• Large corporate banking experience
• Navigating complex systems

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required, or equivalent work experience required. MBA or other related advanced degree preferred.
• 10+ Overall Years of Experience
