Senior Project Manager

Job Summary:

The Senior Project Manager will be responsible for managing all aspects of construction projects, from initial planning and budgeting through to execution and completion. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The Senior Project Manager will work closely with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure project success.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of construction projects from start to finish.
• Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets, and ensure adherence to these throughout the project lifecycle.
• Manage project teams, including subcontractors, suppliers, and internal staff, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
• Coordinate and lead site meetings to monitor progress, address issues, and make adjustments as needed.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and company policies at all project sites.
• Monitor project performance and address any deviations from the project plan, schedule, or budget.
• Prepare and present project reports, status updates, and financial summaries to senior management and clients.
• Manage risks and proactively resolve issues to minimize delays or budget overruns.
• Foster strong relationships with clients to ensure satisfaction and facilitate smooth project delivery.
• Handle contract negotiations, change orders, and procurement of necessary permits and approvals.
• Conduct post-project evaluations and recommend improvements for future projects.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field experience.
• 5+ years of experience as a Construction Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Proven ability to manage large-scale construction projects from planning to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction processes, building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
• Proficient in construction management software (e.g., Procore, PlanGrid, MS Project).
• Excellent organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• PMP or other relevant certifications (preferred but not required).
• Knowledge of [specific field, e.g., commercial, residential] construction is a plus.

• Competitive salary range $90,000-$110,000yr (based on experience).
