-6+ years of experience working within IT

-Strong hands on experience writing Python code

-Experience using code to call APIs

-Experience working within an Azure cloud environment

Job Description

Insight Global is looking for a Python Cloud Engineer to join one of our top financial clients in NY/NJ metro area, Pittsburgh or Lake Mary. This individual will be joining the Technology Services Group within their IT Asset Management team. This team is working on an enterprise wide public cloud initiative. This team plays a key role in reporting data about available IT inventory at the bank across all infrastructure and cloud platforms. They have created a process that does inventory once a day of the inventory of various assets that they're leasing from Azure, AWS, and GCP. Their job is to ensure software being utilized meets their licensing agreements, understand what is being run out in the public cloud, etc. This team has built solutions to pull the data in which they utilize Python code and APIs to grab the data and store into a database for internal users. It is imperative that this person has strong experience writing Python code and utilizing APIs, in addition to having experience working withing an Azure cloud environment.
