Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Identity and Access Management (IAM) Engineer to join a team responsible for the design and implementation of IAM/ PAM controls across LexisNexis Risk Solutions. Working within a focused squad, you will take guidance and requirements from the IAM Operations and Security Architecture functions, formulate projects & initiatives, and execute within a sprint-based delivery cycle. Key responsibilities of this role will include the delivery of automated processes, through quality engineering, scripting, or development, to aid the improvement of self-service modules for end users to access resources appropriately for both on-premises and cloud-based resources.
Responsibilities within this role include:
- Managing complex IAM implementation and transformation programs, from project inception through to final sign-off.
- Automating and delivering solutions through bespoke development, system integration or scripting.
- Defining, implement, and increase maturity for access controls through process improvement.
- Executing against the IAM strategy and roadmap.
- Implementing automated processes to ensure security audits are performed to confirm proper access security measures are in place and effective.
- Requirements gathering and analysis with key stakeholders.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in one or more IAM Technologies such as Saviynt, AD Manager+ or other similar tools
- Experience with Windows, Linux/Unix and scripting using Bash and PowerShell.
- Have current and extensive development in Python
- Experience managing and deploying IAM roles within cloud environments (Azure and AWS desired).
- Possess hands-on technical experience in systems integration of identity and access management (IAM) solutions such as the Microsoft Identity Platform (Active Directory and Azure Active Directory/Entra ID).
- Have an understanding of Information Security concepts including authentication, authorization, and access control.
- Ability to produce detailed documentation and process flows around IAM.
- Ability to collaborate with teams across Information Security and wider technology to define solution requirements.
