Job Summary:
This role involves a range of documentation responsibilities for Commercial Real Estate and Residential loans, focusing on the processing, administration, servicing, and closing of new and existing loans across multiple areas, including Commercial Real Estate Loans, Lines of Credit, Commercial Loans, and Residential Loans.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Must have Residential and Commercial experience
- Interpret commitment letters and internal approval forms to prepare or review loan documents, ensuring compliance with approvals.
- Address pre-closing conditions outlined in commitment letters.
- Resolve documentation exceptions for new loans and line of credit advances within established guidelines, as well as clear post-closing pending items and exceptions.
- Process loan and advance funding, including general ledger entries, wire transfers, internal transfers, loan payments, and addressing disbursement issues.
- Prepare pre-closing documentation for commercial, consumer, and residential loans, including Flood Certifications/disclosures, approval reviews, HUD-1 statements, and other related documents.
- Review loan packages from bank attorneys and secure Credit Administration approval prior to closing, making necessary corrections and advising attorneys as needed.
- Collaborate with depository account officers to gather documentation and obtain BSA approval before loan closings.
- Prepare participation loan packages for sale to other banks, ensuring execution of Confidentiality Agreements and other necessary documentation.
- Collect and enter HMDA loan data for review by the Compliance Officer.
- Obtain required insurance policies with necessary endorsements and coverages, including flood, windstorm, hazard, and liability insurance.
- Generate reports on closings-in-process, post-closing exceptions, and aging reports for follow-up with loan officers and attorneys.
- Serve as backup for the Credit Administration Assistant in their absence.
Education and Experience:
- Associate's degree in Business Administration or a related field; or a combination of education and relevant experience totaling at least 5 years.
- Skilled in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Access, and other applications for creating reports, charts, spreadsheets, and presentations for statistical analysis.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is highly desirable.
- Open to feedback and able to contribute positively to team dynamics.
- Ability to work on diverse projects while meeting deadlines.
- Capable of conducting independent research with minimal supervision.
