Role: OpenShift Admin

Location: Charlotte, North Carolina, United States (Onsite).

Salary Range: $100,000-$130,000 a year

• Job Scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys).
• Knowledge of Event Streaming or Event Driven Architecture.
• Experience with RESTful/SOAP Webservices and Microservices.
• Experience with Distributed communication platforms (MQ/Kafka).
• Strong understanding and experience with security implementations (e.g., SSL/mutual SSL, PKI strategies, SAML, oath, SiteMinder, SSO, WS-Auth).
• Agile driven development.
• Unix shell scripting.
• Front-end Tech: Angular, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3.
• JBOSS, Tomcat, WebSphere, or equivalent application servers.
• Desired skills are not required; however candidate must be willing to learn.
• Minimum 8+ years of relevant IT software experience (hands on technical development).
• Solid understanding and hands-on experience with OpenShift, Kubernetes and container orchestration.
• Proficiency in deploying, scaling, and managing Kubernetes clusters.
• Familiarity with related technologies such as Docker and Helm.
• Experience in cloud platforms like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure in relation to Kubernetes.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and how they integrate with Kubernetes.
• Strong problem-solving skills, especially in a distributed system environment.
• Open-source frameworks and tools such as Spring, Spring boot, Apache Kafka, Apache Camel, Log4J/slf4J.
• Database: RDBMS (Oracle, SQL Server, or MySQL) and NoSQL (Casandra).
• Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment.
• Strong Leadership qualities at individual task level.
