GenAI Test/QA Technical Architect

About the job:

The GenAI Test Architect will design and implement an advanced QA automation strategy leveraging General AI (GenAI) technologies. This role focuses on building a unified, AI-powered framework to automate testing across diverse software development teams. The architect will collaborate with data scientists and development teams to seamlessly integrate AI into the QA process, enabling early issue detection and enhancing overall product quality. The Technical Architect is responsible for bridging the gap between business strategy and technical implementation ensuring the technology solutions are aligned with business objectives, delivered efficiently and meeting the highest quality standards.

What you'll do:

Technical Strategy:

• Develop and maintain technical roadmaps that align with the overall business strategy.
• Conduct technology assessments and identify opportunities for improvement and innovation.
• Define and communicate technical architectures and standards.

Solution Design:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to design and document technical solutions.
• Ensure that solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements, including performance, scalability, and security.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and platforms.

Delivery Oversight:

• Provide technical leadership and guidance to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor project progress and identify potential risks and issues.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

Technical Governance:

• Establish and enforce technical governance processes and policies.
• Review and approve technical designs and deliverables.
• Manage technical debt and ensure that systems are maintained and updated.

Stakeholder Management:

• Communicate effectively with business stakeholders, technical teams, and external vendors.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

What you'll need to succeed:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a relevant field, with a significant focus on software quality assurance
• Between 5-8 years of experience in QA automation, including substantial expertise in formulating and executing QA automation strategies
• Proven track record with GenAI technologies and their application in QA automation
• Proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, with a comprehensive understanding of software development life cycles, Agile methodologies, and DevOps/MLOps practices
• Strong problem-solving abilities and creativity in a dynamic work setting
• Exceptional communication and leadership skills, with the capacity to guide cross-functional teams and spearhead initiatives
• Experience in design and development of software and cloud systems
• Designing and testing of highly scalable, distributed and reliable systems
• Should have lead test automation framework design and deployment
• Thorough knowledge of AI concepts (NLP, deep learning, ML and related adjacencies)
• Proficiency in AI frameworks like PyTorch, TensorFlow, Keras and languages like Python, Java, C++
• Flexibility to travel as needed for client related activity
