We are seeking a strong and enthusiastic Android Mobile Developer to join our dynamic Application Engineering team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality mobile applications for the Android platform. This role involves collaborating closely with other engineers and cross-functional teams to deliver innovative and user-friendly mobile solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain mobile applications for the Android platform.
Feature Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
Code Quality: Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Lifecycle Management: Participate in the entire application lifecycle, including concept, design, development, testing, release, and maintenance.
Technical Debugging: Debug and resolve technical issues to ensure optimal application performance.
Testing: Perform unit testing to ensure the robustness, reliability, and performance of applications.
Code Reviews: Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and share knowledge with the team.
Industry Trends: Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Best Practices: Implement mobile development best practices to ensure high code quality and performance.
Security Compliance: Adhere to security and data protection guidelines for mobile applications.
Requirements:
Experience: 6+ years of experience in Native mobile app development.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in Native Android development, with knowledge of cross-platform frameworks (iOS, Flutter, React Native) being a plus.
Programming Languages: In-depth understanding of Kotlin, Java, and Jetpack Compose.
Development Tools: Strong experience with Android SDK, Gradle/Maven, and unit/automated testing using Espresso UI Automation.
APIs and Libraries: Experience with RESTful APIs, GraphQL, JSON, and integrating third-party libraries and APIs.
Version Control: Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git, Gitlab).
Design Patterns: Solid understanding of mobile app design patterns (MVC, MVP, MVVM, Clean Architecture, etc.).
Collaboration: Strong experience collaborating with designers and UX experts to create great user experiences.
CI/CD: Understanding of Agile methodologies and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) practices.

CI/CD Principles: Understanding of CI/CD principles.
UI/UX Design: Good understanding of UI/UX design principles and best practices.
Mobile Accessibility: Knowledge of current mobile accessibility standards.
Bluetooth Technologies: Preferred familiarity with Bluetooth, BT Profiles, Digital Key, Core Bluetooth, External accessory, OAuth 2.0, and iAP2.
Agile Development: Experience with Agile processes and test-driven development.
Remote Collaboration: Familiarity with working in a remote team environment.
Communication: Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate well across teams.
App Submission: Familiarity with Google Play policies for app submission.
