We are looking to hire a Sr. QA Automation -SDET (Kafka) at Weehawken, NJ
Please Note: Hands-On Kafka experience is must have for this role.
Job Overview:
- We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Automation QA/SDET with specialized expertise in Kafka, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and database testing.
- The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving end-to-end testing using automation, ensuring high-quality UI and API testing, and leveraging existing automation frameworks for efficient CI/CD pipeline integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium, Java, and Cucumber for UI and API testing, with a particular emphasis on Kafka testing and database interaction.
- Drive end-to-end testing using automation, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and reliability across various components of the software application.
- Implement and optimize existing automation frameworks, leveraging Rest Assured for API testing and BDD using Serenity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into efficient and reliable technical solutions for automated testing.
- Integrate automated tests into the CI/CD pipeline, ensuring smooth and efficient automation of the testing process.
- Ensure functional understanding of the software application to drive effective testing strategies and scenarios.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in automation testing with a strong emphasis on Kafka, Cucumber, Selenium, Java, and database testing.
- Extensive knowledge and proficiency in existing automation frameworks, with the ability to drive end-to-end testing using automation.
- Expertise in UI and API testing, with a focus on implementing BDD using Serenity and Rest Assured for API testing.
- Strong understanding of Kafka testing and its integration within the automated testing process.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
