Asset Optimization - BESS

One of my client’s energy trading merchants and asset investor is seeking a BESS Asset Optimization analyst to join their team. The role is based in Houston, TX and is fully onsite.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ability to optimize battery storage revenue
• Communicate to data scientists and clients
• Make sure the bids are inputted correctly
• Have built out algorithms and datasets

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance or related field
• The ability to run Python Scripts (SQL, R, PowerBi)
• Hedging experience / trading around assets
• 3+ YOE with batteries
• Have previously built out supply and demand models for CAISO or ERCOT for U.S. natural gas & power markets.
