Our client is one of the world's leading law firms. They have an amazing opportunity for an HR leader to join their firm as a Manager of Staff Recruitment developing and shaping the firm's talent acquisition function.
Boston, MA (Hybrid)
$150,000 - $200,000 + Bonus + Benefits
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough searches by researching and analyzing competitive markets, using placement agencies, job boards, career fairs, social media, AI, and other relevant technology to identify top talent.
- Build and maintain relationships with search firms across the firm's geographic locations; oversee, track, and organize active contracts.
- Develop and manage the annual recruiting budget.
- Oversee, implement, and continuously refine all stages of the full cycle recruiting process, from position requisition and candidate sourcing to screening, interviewing, extending offers, and onboarding new hires.
- Utilize behavioral-based interviewing and coach hiring managers on the firm's recruiting methodology.
- Manage the internal candidate referral program.
- Oversee the job description inventory, assisting managers with job descriptions as needed.
- Implement welcoming processes for new employees, equipping them with the resources needed for success.
- Collaborate with administrative managers to assess and improve hiring, onboarding, and integration programs.
- Directly manage a Talent Acquisition Coordinator and indirectly supervise a Human Resources Coordinator, setting a positive example in leadership.
- Adapt and adjust recruitment strategies as necessary to meet position-specific or firm-wide needs, ensuring optimal hiring outcomes.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through clear communication and prompt follow-up.
- Deliver excellent service to internal stakeholders, proactively providing hiring managers with regular search updates.
- Maintain accurate candidate records in the firm's Applicant Tracking System (viRecruit).
- Provide weekly recruiting reports to the HR Director.
- Manage the relationship with the background check vendor, ensuring timely and compliant completion of checks and new hire paperwork.
- Track and analyze recruiting data, expenses, and key metrics, such as time-to-hire and candidate sources.
- Oversee temporary staff hiring and tracking.
- Utilize behavioral-based interviewing and coach hiring managers on the firm's recruiting methodology.
- Manage the firm's summer internship program.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree required.
- 3+ years of experience in recruiting and onboarding/integration, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
- Proficient in full-cycle recruiting, sourcing, and employer branding.
- Experienced in utilizing social media and job boards.
- Skilled in collecting and analyzing recruiting-related data and metrics.
