Senior FinOps Analyst

Title: Senior FinOps Analyst (Cloud & IT Cost Optimization)

Location: Cleveland, Ohio

Salary: $110,000-135,000

The Senior FinOps Analyst is responsible for managing and optimizing cloud and IT spending, including forecasting, cost analysis, and ensuring adherence to cloud best practices like tagging and policy compliance. They will work closely with internal teams to improve cloud efficiency, contribute to the development of the company's FinOps practice, and help drive cost-saving initiatives and reporting through data analysis and visualization.

Key Requirements:

• 5 or more years of professional experience in a FinOps IT role
• 5 years of experience working with a variety of cloud providers (AWS, AZURE, GCP)
• Working knowledge of third-party or cloud-native cloud cost reporting products and tools (e.g., CloudHealth, Cloudability, Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Mgmt+Billing)
• Advanced technical skills using Excel, SQL, MS Access, or other data analysis tools
• Understanding of Agile principles and Sprint Planning, including scum and kanban planning/ backlog tools (e.g., JIRA)
• Experience with PowerShell, Terraform, Python or similar automation/scripting languages
