Senior Civil Engineer

Director of Engineering

This position will lead the Civil practice in northeast Florida. As a key leader within our firm, the successful candidate will play an integral role in growing the business in northeast Florida.

Job Duties:

• Lead and develop a team of project managers, engineers, and technicians for the implementation of public infrastructure projects and/or private land development projects.
• Identify project pursuits, market clients, and manage pursuits including proposal and presentation preparation. Coordinate and develop proposed scope, schedule, and fee for projects pursued and lead the interview team.
• Actively win new work from both new and existing clients by building and maintaining customer relationships, monitoring future work opportunities, communicating regularly, and attending client events.
• Collaboration with other services such as transportation, water, CEI, planning, and landscape architecture/planning to market and deliver full-service project opportunities to clients.
• Directly manage projects on time and within the project budget and maintain a high level of client satisfaction.
• Monitor and manage the financial aspects of all projects within the group. Travel is estimated to be approximately 15% to other offices, meet with clients, attend project-specific meetings, and business development.

Experience

• 17+ years of experience
• Florida experience preferred

Certification/Licensure

• Professional Engineer (P.E.) License, reciprocity in multiple states.
• Driver's License
