Job Title: Senior Benefits Administrator

Location: Greensboro, NC 27401

Contract: 6 Months (Possible Extension Up to 18 Months)

Shift: 5x8 (8 am to 5 pm),

Job Summary

The Senior Benefits Administrator is responsible for overseeing the administration of employee benefits programs while ensuring compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations. This role requires expertise in benefit laws and the ability to manage outsourced vendor relationships effectively.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and administer employee benefits programs, ensuring compliance with ACA, ERISA, FMLA, COBRA, ADA, Section 125, and DOL requirements.
  • Conduct open enrollment processes, providing support and guidance to employees regarding benefits options.
  • Collaborate with outsourced vendors to manage projects related to benefits administration and ensure quality service delivery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation for regulatory compliance and reporting.
  • Utilize HRIS applications for efficient management of benefits data and reporting.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree.
  • 5+ years of experience in Human Resources, with a focus on benefits administration.
  • Strong understanding of federal and state regulations related to employee benefits.
  • Proficiency in HRIS applications.
  • Experience with open enrollment processes.
  • Experience managing outsourced vendor projects.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Certifications such as Certified Benefits Professional (CBP) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS) are preferred.
