Senior Control Engineer

We’re supporting our client, a leading machinery manufacturer based in Kent, Ohio who are looking for a Senior Controls Engineer to join their growing team.

Pay range and compensation package

Salary: $115,000 - $125,000

About the Role

The Senior Controls Engineer works with a team of electrical engineers, control technicians, and others as necessary. The Senior Controls Engineer utilizes AutoDesk, Autocad Electrical, Proprietary Rockwell Software, and our MRP software for design and engineering.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical controls
• Programming of Fanuc robots
• Write software for controlling packing machinery
• Provide electrical engineering information by answering questions and requests.
• Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications

High School Diploma required, Progress toward an associate's or bachelor's degree in relevant field preferred

Required Skills

• Proficiency in AutoCAD Electrical
• Drawing and Design Experience in the packaging industry
• Minimum of 2 years as an engineer/designer in the packaging industry
• Extensive experience with programming and designing control systems
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Design and problem-solving skills
• Excellent oral and written communication
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent computer skills
• Experience with MS Office suite including MS Excel, AutoCad electrical, and relevant control software
• Ability to walk up and down stairs and ability to lift 25lbs or more
• Must be present on-site to complete job
