Omron Electronics LLC is looking for an energetic and focused Global Account Manager to develop and manage a specified Omron G30 Global Industry Account to drive specifications, develop long-term profitable relationships, and develop and execute a global sales plan to achieve a long term Omron technology solution investment plan.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze assigned target accounts, identify investment areas and opportunities.
  • Understand target customer product trends, needs and specifications, and communicate requirements to Global Strategic Sales team, Product Marketing and Product Development.
  • Develop strategic account plan and eco-structure to define customer future investment segments.
  • Set quantitative targets and milestones to achieve long term market share growth.
  • Define necessary support structure and involve global stakeholders.
  • Cooperate with strategic divisions (Industry and Product) to identify areas of innovation.
  • Find opportunities within target account(s) and eco-structure to offer mutually defined and value add co-created technical solutions.
  • Structurally build and maintain Global multi-level key contacts to relevant functions (Management, Specification, Purchasing, Technology, Plants, and Planning)
  • Leverage existing account network to expand into new factories and locations.
  • Initiate and drive dedicated work groups and events with assigned accounts.
  • Negotiate and coordinate contracts / global agreements.
  • Collect / Share and coordinate global projects and initiatives outside OAA with related OEX stakeholders.
  • Drive necessary support utilizing OMRON and strategic network.
  • Initiate, drive and maintain an operational network to cultivate, present business demands and projects.
  • Identify necessary support functions and address virtual teams to serve urgent demands.
  • Deliver required reports on monthly / quarterly and ad hoc base for management and global stakeholders
  • Lead cross functional / cross organizational teams through mutual shared targets and goals.
  • Manage costs through appropriate given budget and business circumstances
  • Project management and escalation tasks when necessary.

Job Requirements:

  • Four (4) years Business and or Engineering Degree ( BSEE, BSME) or two (2) years Technical School and Business Degree with equivalent years of technical or military experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of demonstrated application solutions sales experience with end user, OEM or System Integrator customers.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of team building and team management experience.
  • Sales experience with some or all of the following applications is a plus: PLC hardware, software and interfaces, Motion Control Systems, Robotics, Machine vision systems, Advanced smart sensors (optical, proximity), 2D Code Readers, Optical Recognition and RFID products
  • Applied knowledge and selling experience in industrial automation environment with particular emphasis on material handling systems, machine vision, smart sensors, data collection, control and communication at production and asset management level.
  • Proven history of consistent sales success through Global collaboration a plus.
  • Ability to excel within a 'high velocity' selling model.
  • Ability to travel (up to 40%).
