Join a dynamic, growing capital markets trading firm in the Galleria area of Houston, TX. Our client is expanding their presence in physical and financial energy trading and are looking for a skilled Senior Contract Negotiator to support their North American power origination and trading operations.

Position Overview:

As the Senior Contract Negotiator, you will play a key role in supporting the firm's power origination and trading activities by managing the review, negotiation, and execution of complex trading agreements. You will work cross-functionally with Legal, Credit, Origination, and Commercial teams to ensure all agreements are in line with company standards and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead negotiations and execute master agreements, including ISDAs with physical annexes, EEIs, and long-form confirmations.
• Collaborate with Credit and Legal teams on documentation related to guaranties and letters of credit.
• Draft and revise bespoke confirmations with the Commercial and Legal teams.
• Oversee workflow for various commercial agreements, including transmission, confidentiality, and vendor agreements.
• Maintain organized records within the Legal contract management system.
• (Preferred) Support transactions involving renewables and natural gas.
