Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, organize, and control the production of dried fruit.
- Ensure the efficient production of goods in the right quantity, quality, and specifications.
- Produce orders on schedule and confirm pickup for order completion.
- Be a key member of the HACCP program, attend meetings, and conduct training.
- Plan and schedule production activities.
- Supervise the production process and manage a crew of 15-35 employees across 2 shifts.
- Monitor production practices to ensure cost-effective and high-standard production.
- Collaborate with other managers to execute the organization's policies and goals.
- Work effectively with other departments.
Minimum Requirements:
- Bilingual is a must.
- Management skills and knowledge in the food manufacturing industry, specifically in dried fruit production processes.
- Willingness to take food safety training.
- Preferred 3-5 years of industrial food processing experience in a managerial capacity.
Skills Required:
- Ability to make good judgment decisions under pressure.
- Ability to grasp complex concepts easily and pay attention to specific details.
- Excellent planning and organization skills.
- Physical ability to stand for long periods and strong hand-eye coordination.
- Sufficient physical reflexes and personal mobility, with good clarity of hearing.
- Good stamina, careful, responsible, patient, accurate, quick, and alert.
- Ability to operate various equipment items within the department's scope.
- Ability to forge a teamwork environment.
- Ability to move work-related items of up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
